thanks for the heads up guys ...
would have missed the Teva sale had it not been for this forum ...

bought this from Jurong Point ...
Terraluxe ... $59 (was $159)

bought to replace my Spoiler 4 (bought online from US ) cos distro there told me no bring in
the sides flaps came off due to my laziness in removing the slippers after use ...
had used left foot to step on right and removed without the use of hands
finally damaged after everyday use ...
sent to cobbler ... repaired for $2 ...
now as good as new !

chose this over the Fossil Canyon cos the 'insole' is padded ...
more comfy ...
the traction of the soles also different ...
think better grip ...
besides the Fossil they had was a darker shade than the one on display ...
had preferred to have the lighter tone one ...

mine is US 8 !!!
was last pair at Jurong Point
at least that was what i was told ...
think best u call them up to chevk and maybe reserve ...

btw, i brot a pair of slippers for trade-in ...

cos i think gimmick ... what would they do with some of your old smelly slippers rite

do note there is a diff in UK & US sizes ...
generally speaking, US = 1 size smaller than UK ...
so if u wearing UK 7 ... then TEVA must get US 8

anyway, i wore mine for first time today ...
seems lighter than my Spoiler ...
wonder if it's just a mental thingy though

and think shld last longer than my spoiler ...
since it comes with clips

Went today, overall quite disappointing. They put there Male Apparel $23-$39, but of course almost all the items were marked $39. Quite hard to find larger sizes also, mostly S and M. Shoes were more or less same price as Queensway...

Moi went today , those 70% discount jeans mostly sold out riao .
Left 30% 40% 50% jeans , but the design notch that nice .
With 30% discount roughly also 150rm ++ .
I bought a design w/o offer huan for 329rm xim tia

No pics for the metrojaya sale. Heavy rain dampen my mood a little. The sale nothing worth going for. Alot of unknown brand, I only know Charles jordan, Renoma, Camel Active, Wacoal and Byford. Very few selection, most designs cannot make it. Pricewise also not that attractive to me, on average about the retail price less 10-20%, at most 30%.

Place not too crowded partly due to weekday and rain. Very small scale, if compared to Robinson sale at expo maybe 1/5 or 1/4 the size. Not worth going unless you already happen to be in JB.

Tried the Mee Rebus at Kotaraya. Not bad but quite ex at 5RM. Nonetheless, good recommendation by mosmos. Lots of crispy bits. Also had chicken chop in hainanese coffeeshop. Again quite ex at 9.80RM for one piece with abit of green peas. This one recommended by the mediacorp book. Portion not big enough.

No inspiration also at City Square, the Levis store seem to feature "70% grab em all" sale but didn't see anything I like. Another discovery is that the jeans brands called "Edwin" and "diesel" is somehow a cheapo brand in Malaysia. Can be found at Kotaraya store, don't know any relation to the Japanese or European one or not.

The good thing is that for a mountain beetle like myself who haven't been to the causeway area for a long time, the new immigration building is aircon sheltered all the way to City Square. Quite good, don't have any sleazy characters loitering around unlike the old one.
