Update after visit

Quite new products on sale.
Mostly just off season products.
Female apparels more than male.

Level 6 consist of: Puma shoes, Surfer Paradise, lingerie, beddings. (Not so attractive products)

Level 4 consist of: Apparels, Shoes, Bags, Watches (Adidas, Nike & Puma)
Lots of variety for shoes and bags.

Most products are 30-40 percent cheaper.
Best buys: World Cup Jerseys (Germany, Spain, Agentina, France, Russia) @ $69.30

Okay thanks bro, will go down take a look if possible tomorrow afternoon. I'll try to get a few pictures if i remember to bring my camera.

from personal experience, i'm scared already.

Bought bread toaster from akira warehouse sale last year.
The 2-slice one is damn cheap, less than 20 bucks.

Felt happy cause I got good bargain and quickly try it.
The first time, bread pop-up nicely,
the second round, i just leave it there went to bedroom to take something.

When I go back smoke already cover my kitchen.
Apparently the subsequent usage,
automatic pop-up mechanism failed to work,
the toaster kept burning.

Really no QC!
Luckily I was alert, otherwise the whole house has been burned down already (for 20 bucks !!!)

Depends ba....i got a Aikra DVD player...
and for 2yrs still working well...and best of all..
it plays all kinds of DVDs *ahem*
but
my branded dvd players can't play them.

think for akira, it's best to keep off those items which has heating elements.
probably dvd player or tv should be ok.

i think today is the most worthless trip for me all the way from tampines to bloody JE for the bloody AKIRA whs...

i apparantly didnt get the brochure so i happy2 go there to get a microwave and skali LIMITED TO 20 SETS.. cheee kenn....

summore the microwave is super small type one.. + the place is bloody hot, with this auntie keep on talking on the super loud speaker, and little kids with "akira" polos running around and i must reiterate this *TENDING THEIR OWN STALLS*

yes people, KIDS. i went up to one of them and they duly give me all the details of a portable dvd player, like a real salesman. Sometimes i wonder where MOM draws the line from setting the age limit to enforcing the age limit to work..

ANYWAYS, the WHS is SUPER NOT TOTALLY worth it, unless u are super cheapo and buy some huge ass "hdtv" and think u got a good bargain but actually u got ripped. Seriously... and all other "sale items" are easily not really sale item like. Theres too many to describe. The price isn't really discounted much, in terms of value per se, IMHO.

Courts, Giant, best denki all are selling the particular mircrowave i wanna buy and they are offering better deals now. Courts is having their Yer end sale also might be more worth it to go to ur neighbourhood courts store and see their wide range of brands.

Seriously, No offence to AKIRA users but the brand itself is not worth patronising, even though its painted Singapura all over it. And im not bitching because i didnt get my microwave, it simply is a really ****tie sale.

me kinda tempted to get their home system but had my doubts as well .

like me had said earlier .. best to spend on smthn' that's much more reliable in quality where brands are concerned .

my experience with Akira...

got a tv and a DVD player from them, both having problems after some time.
the tv is the flat screen CRT type...
it started to show off colour images after using for 5 months, and its not just one colour, sometimes the screen is reddish, sometimes greenish/bluish...quite irritating...
as for the DVD player, like popdod said, can play "all" kinds of DVD/VCD, but started to show problem after around first 10 discs. seemed like its getting dirty easily, had to use a cleaning kit after every 3 discs, troublesome...
thinking of playing from my desktop with USB to tv may be better, don't need good quality, can see can hear can already...

AKIRA is outsourced company. DESIGN and Manufacturing 100 % done in China.
some local entreprenuer just buys these stuff and labels it AKIRA..

so dont expect it to like goot branded ones
