Aldo shoes are quite popular with some people which swear by their shoes. Their shoes are normally closer to the 200 range. For good looking and more affordable shoes, Pedro is a good choice.

I think there were some threads about Pedro shoes being not durable.

nothing to be yaya about.
don't think their products are worth anything close to what they're charging.

RAOUL products are pretty crap.
just bit of stripes here and there.

don't take it from me.
just go look for yourself. upclose.
the workmanship, stitching can be very piss poor.

I rather buy G2000, lol :D

I wore a pedro shoes 2 years ago and i found that it was not that durable and comfy compared to my previous Hush Puppies.
I got several blisters near my ankle area during the first two weeks I was wearing it.
It hurts and I had to paste plaster on the wounded area :(
The sole was not durable coz it was out of shape less than a year of wearing :s11:
I didn't drag my shoes while i was walking, juz that the sole was made of wooden material, worse than my Hush Puppies which could last me for 2.5 years.
I'm not sure about Aldo coz it's beyond my budget.

My first pair of Pedro also gave me very bad blister at the back. I wore my first pair for about a year before the sole and insole thinned. But my second pair which I am wearing now did not give me any blister problem from the first day. Still very happy with it.

Oh is it? I though they are on sale as well. Yes the Citi card applies only to non sale item. I've been to all 3 outlets except the one in T2. Been to Raffles City, Suntec and Paragon. Raffles City most selection I feel.

It is true to certain extent their prices are pretty steep. My take on it is that, they do have some dressier shirts that look nice and also some very normal looking ones. For people like me who love those nice designs like double collar, different color in cuffs and collar, different cuffs cutting and others will take a liking to Raoul.

True you can get better workmanship and designs if you go tailor. But with the discounts, a Raoul shirt is more affordable than getting a shirt tailored for $100 and up. I would not say Raoul has very poor or great workmanship, just normal like other shirts from else where.

:)

Its actually hidden at a corner where LOVE&CO, Cortefield, and Dockers reside. When you enter Raffles City via the main entrance (near escalator leading to MRT), go to straight and then left where you will see Aigner, Agnes B and Kate Spade. Then go left some more, there will be a stretch of shops that lead to an exit where Raoul will be situated there.

Based on the findings from HZ forum, bettlebugs are overpriced and quality worse than Pedro :(

is Pedro or BeetleBug better i terms of their shoe quality ?

i agree too, i bought beeltebug shoes, they are overpriced and not so durable. actually you can tell of the workmanship of a pair of shoes just by looking at the rubber soles, usually the good ones are held together by thread and sewn while those at beetlebug are glued together, i think pedro oso glued together. i guess yi fen qian, yi fen huo. personally i buy obermain shoes coze they are comfortable and durable thou cost is abt $150+/- per pair
