This is my first call up for briefing, used to join ICT and mob without briefing and suddenly today they decided to call me up for briefing and it is on a freaking wednesday morning at tuas base when my office is another end of the country.

Is this usually a mob or ICT briefing since it never state any ICT keywords. And how do you all handle such timing ? Take half day leave after that ? :(:(:(:(:(

No count as cycle. SAF can call you up to 40 working days per year, this is considered as 1 of the many days.

bumping this thread up as I just got called up for a 2 hour mob briefing on wednesday afternoon

anyone can advise whether SAF will reimburse half-day pay as i am employed? or just two hours out of the eight hours of the working day?

can this be deferred due to work? it is not a typical low key or high key and businesses may not tolerate such a sudden absence.

I usually settle this with an MC scanned to the contact@ns.sg email.

Don't bother.

It's not abt hwz approved.
If here got proven cases before then yes I will go it. this shld be considered by saf for all units. They need to know the working adults have work on weekdays.

And ppl work in Tuas have to go selarang camp or Changi and go Jurong camp and need to go in with no4 some more
