Brightstar Scam?

Hi Everyone,

I recently went through the Apple Brightstar trade-in program. I wanted to trade in my iPad 3. My iPad is working fine without any issues, mint condition.

1. Received Quote $55
2. Courier collected as agreed.
3. Days later, Quoted Revised $0, Reason: iPad cannot power up.
4. Rejected Offer.
5. iPad Returned as Bricked. I inspected the iPad and discovered several tampering with the iPad.

Anyhow encountered such issues?

Nope, traded in 2 iPhones (6 and 7) with no issues

Maybe during the transit it damages the iPad

Sue them. If they damaged your ipad how is that your fault?

I am just here to raise awareness about this case. They can always pin the fault to the "transit" or DOA. Haiz, nothing much I can do to prove it.

Just be more careful in future.
