Broke MS Surface Pro

anyone had experience of repairing a broke surface pro?
I've got one where the pro 5 couldn't start up, it shuts down after seeing the logo, 4 square.

any advice?

If you are out of warranty, it is very difficult to repair. There are some shops in Sim Lim that may be able to help you, but mostly I see a lot of apple repair shops for iPads etc, not sure if they are able to do your Surface Pro.

It's either your OS is corrupted (more likely) or there are some memory issues. Worst case, your storage itself is damaged and needs to be replaced. Too difficult to test since these devices are very difficult to open up.

Ya i looked online and most said unlikely to repair. Microsoft quoted me $600 plus for a replacement set. siao. lol

looks like no choice. anw already gotten a new Acer lapto and looks like i have to move on with it. Damn Microsoft, a $1900 laptop broke within 3 year. tsk.

Most likely your CPU joints are bad, need those shops who can resolder, many such shops in China. Check the notebook repair master in YouTube.
