Hey

I have a broken escape key on my laptop keyboard. I have taken out the key and even the rubber pad underneath does not work. Would rather not purchase a usb plugin. This is a problem though because i play a lot of games, and escape key is pretty important. I have tried rebinding my keys using "Randyrants Keysharp" and "Keytweak", rebinding Esc to " ` ", "Ins", "Right Shift", "Right Ctrl" but they do not work after restarting. I run Windows 7 on an Asus 4755G

Any and all help is appreciated, thanks

Laptop keyboard scissor switches are hard to repair. Your best bet is to buy a replacement keyboard off ebay and DIY. Quite easy to do so.
