[BSOD] Error Messages: Bad Pool Caller and Memory Management Error

Hi,

My desktop encounter this particular problem last night and I am unable to solve it. Whenever I play flash videos (Youtube, Twitch) on my browser (Firefox or Chrome), the browser will crash and the OS will enter into BSOD, displaying either the Bad Pool Caller or Memory Management Error. It will then restart and BSOD will keep occurring. The only way to resolve this is to shut down my PC, wait a few moments and then on it again. The PC will operate fine provided I don't watch flash videos on my browsers.

Some of the things which I did according to web instructions:
1) Run a Wins Memory Diagnostic Check (Clear)
2) Run a Command Prompt chkdsk (Clear)
3) Scanning both HD and SSD (Clear)
4) A full Windows Defender Scan (Clear)
5) BIOS at default Factory Setting (No Overclocking)
6) sfc / scannow system file checker (Clear)
7) All drivers and Windows Update up-to-date

I did not download or install any new software / driver prior to this problem. Anyone can advise on what could potentially be the problem. TIA

Ah, I don't trust using software to check on hardware. Used software scan my Alienware's, no issue no issue but end up bring to repair shop to check? Everything spoil, mobo spoil psu spoil cpu spoil but the day before yesterday I ran dell diagnostic test everything still tell me no error.
Okay leave the stupid alien aside it's the past.

Since Memory Management Error, Maybe you can try resitting your ram? While resitting it, try to use a air can to blow the slot, desperate measure then just use mouth blow but then breath in those dust HAHAA. If recently after you changed something in bios then this happens, you might want to reconsider resetting your bios. Or re-install flash player trytry? Otherwise just reformat no choice.

Since Memory Management Error, Maybe you can try resitting your ram? While resitting it, try to use a air can to blow the slot, desperate measure then just use mouth blow but then breath in those dust HAHAA. If recently after you changed something in bios then this happens, you might want to reconsider resetting your bios. Or re-install flash player trytry? Otherwise just reformat no choice.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I just came back from a game of 40min DOTA. No lag, no BSOD whatsoever. In fact, my PC was on from 9pm plus till now and the BSOD never even appear once since I never watch any flash videos on my browser.

I never change any of my BIOS setting in the past. I even ran the verifier.exe check, which display no problem.

Maybe you can try unchecking the hardware acceleration? Last time had similar issue with the AW, while playing D2 halfway everything will just shut off, lagi worse rank game.
However the way your situation looks like, maybe an unstable hardware update you had or perhaps just the browser/flash players having issues.

Ya sia, then they told me to leave it there for them to check have to pay a deposit of $110, then afterwards they will diagnose the problem and quote me the price for repair. I just laugh at them take my desktop back and leave for SLS

new desktop, then you try to reinstall the drivers & software? Otherwise if prebuilt can call for check up, then custom built jiu must look for old birds

is custom built. that's why I need advice from some old birds here.

Try removing one of the ram and runs see if any issue? If A have no issue then switch to B, straight go the cause of BSoD when you test. Perhaps got a faulty ram?

My desktop showed this bsod error again but this time with system thread exception not handled message

It will then enter into a reboot loop with memory management error bsod

I reseat the ram but apparently the problem still have not resolve

New bsod msg irql not less or equal. I reseat both ram one at a time and the yellow qled light on the mobo still indicates a dram problem

I guess I can eliminate the issue that ram is the problem here but some other hardware like the mobo or gpu or cpu

The pc keeps rebooting now. I haven tried logging in using safe mode.

I even tried resetting the os but it says it encounter problem and cannot reset.

Too risky to update the bios now. It will bsod even in safe mode. Afraid will brick my mobo if I do that

I only encounter when windows startup. Maybe my problem is different from yours.
