BSOD. Help needed (hardware issue)

hi all. Im getting 0x1e error. was told it was hardware.

i went to RMA my PSU turns out it was faulty. Used a new RAM also same problem. BSOD happens every 3-30min. after start up AFK also BSOD.

event view says:

The Intel(R) HD Graphics Control Panel Service service terminated with the following error:
%%-2147467259

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
cdrom.


this 2 errors only. Can any one help?

This could be a hardware or driver (software) related issue.

Assuming there are no more hardware related issues, try to do a complete uninstall (plus deletion) of all graphic related drivers on your PC; Intel plus nVidia or AMD drivers if you have either.

Restart to Windows and see if there is still BSOD while running on generic drivers that Windows will use when no specific drivers are found.

If still no BSOD, proceed to reinstall the latest stable version starting with the primary graphics drivers you are currently using for your display. If that is stable then you may want to install the other graphic drivers.

Thanks for your solution. But if i install all graphic related drivers i have to connect my display to the mobo? or can i leave it on my GPU. I also cant seem to locate my intel HD driver to update/uninstall

You are using the default setting for system dump which is a single memory.dmp.

Change the setting to small memory dump instead of full memory.dmp (default). Full memory dump does not necessary meant you get much more useful information to debug in the event of system crash. In most cases, small memory dump contains enough information to debug the crash.

Refer to this on how to access the setting for small memory dump.

my memory.dmp seems to be missing. I downloaded NirSoft BlueScreenView...
it sees the C drive minidump folder.

Some dmp contained some other errors. But all had this ntoskrnl.exe

what have u been using all along?
on board or gfx?

what what i see its the onboard issue.
u can find the drivers from ur mb cd...
disable your onboard and uninstall..
then change to your gfx..

always been using dedicated..gtx 780...I cant seem to find the mobo one to uninstall.
uninstall the intel HD one or disable GPU uninstall and reinstall GPU?

What are the results of your troubleshooting? Still having BSODs?

As suggested, it is good to look at the dump files to understand what is happening but generally the troubleshooting steps are the same for driver related issues; install latest stable drivers.

It's your decision which GPU you want to run after you install the GPU drivers but I suspect you would want to use the more powerful graphics adapter (your nVidia card), so connect to your GPU bah.

If you can't find the uninstaller for the Intel drivers in "Control Panel -> Programs and Features", goto Device Manager and uninstall the drivers for the Intel GPU under "Display Adapter" and delete the drivers files when prompted.

The driver/process in the stack are pointing to multiple possibilities, the pool of the fault is simply too large, not typical software issues.

Thanks guys! seems like problem is solved. Reinstalled all graphic and mobo drivers. Working fine now. 12hrs since last bsod.

Still seem to be a driver issue; did you download the latest drivers from the respective websites or using some other drivers?

OS: Win7 pro 64bit
intel i5 4670k
pus crosair rm 650
gpu evga gtx 780
mobo msi z87-g45
ram avexir core ddr3 8gb x 2
hdd samsung ssd pro + WD cavier black

i have completely reinstalled my GPU. uninstalled my 780 driver, it became VGA default, then shut down and plugged into my mobo (intel hd 4600) then uninstalled that one too, and became VGA default too.
Plugged back into gpu with vga driver. Then reinstalled my 780 driver. rest has not be reinstalled.
i used MSI software to update all msi driver...

My advice will still be the same, perform a memory test.

I won't even bother to debug the dump before a memory test, a typical hardware issue rather then outdated driver.
