BSOD

hi guys, need a little help here. DIY a pc 2 wks ago and had blue screen randomly. be it 15 mins to 3 hrs of usage. it also hangs when updating windows. so i disable the updates. nv had a chance to take a pic of the blue screen though.

updated to the latest bios for this mobo (f19e)

specs.

-i5 3570k
-z77x-ud3h
-corsair tx650m
-1tb WD black
-samsung dvd
-corsair vengeance 2x4gb 1600
-on board graphics.
-corsair h80i

anyone?

Btw, realise my rams reads only 1333 instead of 1600. Any idea?

you can set it to run at 1600 in bios. however the difference from 1333 is pretty much negligible and most likely its not the cause of the bsod.

you need to provide more details or error code for the peeps here to help u

Thanks guys.. IT happened ytd night again. First line is memory management.... Didn't catch it again.. IT happened too fast

post BSOD code. should look like this:
0x000000XXX <<< XXX is 3 letters or numbers

system properties>advanced>startup and recovery> untick automatically restart so you can take a pic of ur bsod the next time it crashes

alternatively, the crash logs should be in windows\minidump
