btech nus

I'm planning to take the part time btech degree from NUS, but I still don't know which one to pick. I have a diploma in chemical engineering, but I don't really like this field. There seem to have a few options other than chemical engineering, like electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial and management engineering. Anyone can give any suggestions which degree is more "marketable" other than chemical engineering?

I dont like some of the modules i.e. process control, thermodynamics..

Then mech engine is not for u, it also has thermodynamics. (not your chicken feed poly level type)

Does NUS allow u to take foundational modules which are equivalent to poly level?

Yup, have to go through some of the basic foundation modules.. Was thinking of industrial and management engineering actually, but not sure whether the degree is useful in future or not..

I think i have to start everything from scratch though..

Well then, clearly you have no clue about what industrial engineering is.

I think you might need to go read up more on what is industrial engineering and what other courses are about before making decisions.

Do you know what Industrial engineering is in the first place? For example it can be related to design a factory process system, then of cause computer software will be involved as well. So do you think programming is important to them?

No. No dip and no work experience

No. They won't. Even with dip I believe NUS has quite stringent requirements. GPA 3.5 and above would be safe. But I believe their part time courses allow a lower GPA but in exchange for work experience.
