600sgd can only get Lp thuad 2524 from wat changhai. Maybe will exceed budget by a little depending on whether it is beautiful condition or not.
For Lp thuad amulets, I know many monks made it but my preference is always get the one from archan tim.

sorry can’t help much as couldn’t think of one around this price.
thank you

Can ask the experts here. On the necklace, do you place the amulets in the following order, as in altar?

Buddha
Arhat
Monk
Ruesi
Deity
Master
Prai

Meaning that Buddha amulet is at the centre, then left follow by right, in ascending order.

Also, can I wear the same amulet on the same necklace, i.e. two Somdej.

Lastly, for the amulet above, is it counted as one or two amulet?

Halo. I considering getting a pidta cos from i research it for protection. My office tat i am currently working in my ex colleague have sighted shadows.
My budget will be 200+ or can be more. I want to get a good one.
Question here is where can i get real one and not fake ones in sg?
If i am able to get one do i still need to find a thai monk to bless it?

If you getting from dealers, get from reputable ones that able to backup the amulets they are offering, guarantee authentic or money back.

Authentic amulets has already went through proper consecration ceremony and blessed, not really required to find another thai monk to bless it.

If having the amulet that you just gotten to have it rebless by a thai monk gives you confidence in the amulet, no harm to go and do it ;)

So who are the reputable dealers? Are they in sg? Or i need to go places like bangkok?

There are definitely thai amulet dealers that are reputable in sg, just go have a look around and deal with someone you are comfortable with.

For getting it overseas, you may wish to plan a temple trip to get directly from a temple

Hi experts, got a question.

Last week i just happened to drop by cash converter. Saw got large number of amulets thai and buddhist type for sale.

Was wondering how come the shop buy them and resell? I thought nobody will buy a pre-owned amulet? No knowledge of who previous owner was, how it was used.

From what I understand there are people who collect and trade them

Isn't it dangerous to own 1 that they don't know the amulet previous owner? Heard horror stories about new owners getting bad luck and even death in family members.... I thought amulets cannot be passed to another person, it only suit the original ower who aquired it from temple 開光?

I doubt that is possible. More like an urban legend imho

It doesn’t make sense, the amulet protects the wearer. It would be more worrisome if the amulet doesn’t have a previous owner , for example, if the amulet was “forcefully” taken from its original placement site. Heard a story of such a case where the wrong doer involved in getting that amulet, got stabbed in a conflict and died from the injury. Maybe coincidence or the saying “Greed does not pay” is true.

No lah, i mean all along people will go to temple to pray and aquire an amulet from the monk or priest, not go to 2nd hand shop buy from previous owner mah. Never know the background of the previous owner and how it was aquired from.

But where u aquired them from?
Not from 2nd hand shop right? Maybe u get them from transfer of hands without money involved.

Already the 1st owner selling his/her amulet in exchange for cash seems so wrong.

Anyway i asking becoz i saw in cash converter got a few 蝴蝶仙 amulets. I heard they are powerful thai 仙 can bless relationships etc
