Extend warranty is a good idea
My 7yr old kid, i gave him an Asus G20 set with Mech RGB Keyboard and mouse
I chose the G20 coz i have access to it and the internals are sturdy enough
Paired it with an unused Philips BDM4065UC i had lying around and kid sits 1.5m away, Parents can see from bedroom what kid is playing
He has never failed to pull the keyboard hard enough for the set topple from the upright position to the horizontal position
So Whatever you buy, must tahan being tipped over
Place on floor
NO TEMPERED GLASS for obvious reasons.
THE HOTTEST MUST PLAY GAMES FOR KIDS
ROBLOX
MINECRAFT
MUST HAVE PERIPHERAL
Keyboard with RGB lights <= UBER IMPORTANT IT is SO important it trumps anything. I got mine the Coolermaster Masterkeys Combo
SSD <= Its more for the parent who has to constantly wipe the PC every few months coz of the garbage
Otherwise 1TB HDD
Graphic card = 1050 <= Good enough for most of the games unless kid wants to play PUBG
IF no graphic card, kid will curse you behind your back. And your heart will break when you see him playing CSGO @ 640x480. Amd he will be telling everyone his dad got him a sux PC.
Monior get an IPS Panel of appropriate size. You don't need to add on to kid's vision...
Don't get the snake brand. Because you are simply pwning yourself if you do. When the kid constantly gets accustomed to everything snake brand. Parent wallet will cry.
I would recommend dell with some sort of graphic card coz if anything wrong, they can come over to sort it out. coz if spoilt, can call dell. Or rather, can get the kid to call dell and bug the agents for support. Unless Dad wants to do PC support after a hard day of work.
