1/More for gaming and normal net surfing n movie.

2/Don't have any specific game, may be FPS, wish to run ultra setting in most of the game.

3/WIFI

4/budget not included monitor, mouse, KB , speaker

5/Not planning to overclock (zero knowledge about this, so never thought of it)

if you are new or not planning to overclock, i dont recommend you to take the watercooling route as its another potential point of catastrophic failure. Just get a good air cooler, throw it into your rig and call it a day.

Casing don’t seem air flow friendly. Can see meshify c. I’m using that case. Similar the the nzxt one but the front is mesh. Mobo if not planning why not get the non z or x series?

Woah serious? I was thinking of using ID's cooler when I build my rig a couple of weeks ago. But I end up going with NZXT x62 instead...

Why not go for air cooling ? Save you the headache, cash and reduce the paranoia of water leaking.. lol

i personally think you should assemble yourself. quite fulfilling to do it by yourself.

and also, if budget tight, can drop to 2400mhz instead of 3000 for your ram.

All prices are from Sim Lim Square Dynacore

ASROCK Z370 KILLER SLI/AC + i5-8400 - 489
KLEVV BOLT 2400MHz 8GB x2 - 242(121 each)
Seasonic Focus+ 550W Gold Modular - 139
Cryorig H7(Optional) - 60
Toshiba 7200RPM HDD 2TB - 78
Klevv N600 SSD 250GB - 125
NZXT S340 Elite - 165
Galax GTX1070Ti EX-Sniper White 8Gb GDDR5 - 819
Win 10 - 20(carousell)

If you not overclocking, don't bother getting the k chips. The i5-8400 already performs superbly in games so you don't really need anything higher.

Asrock board here is a better choice for you since you want Wifi. You can still get your MSI but would have to pay additional to get inbuilt Wifi or purchase a wifi card.

Since ram speeds has minimal impact(1% or less fps) on intel platforms, just got for the cheapest rams will do.

You do not need 750watt PSU especially since you are not overclocking. 550watts are more then enough.

CPU cooler is optional since i5-8400 already comes with one. I wont say it's very good or quiet but it's definitely enough to keep the chip cooled. Paying extra 60 for it is not worth it IMO but up to you.

HDD has the same performance just get the cheapest. SSD performance in game has no difference in real world. You won't be able to tell so just get a decent one will do.

its not that bad la, one of my personal rig and two friends's rig are using id cooling 120 and 240 AIO. its solid for the price but dont expect it to last forever lo, out of the 3 AIO, 2 failed(one leak, one pump spoil) after 3 years so you get what you paid for lo. But from what i understand even the branded AIOs (nzxt etc.) all hard to last more than a few years.

Ts choosing 8600k so I believe he wants to overclock.

Anyway certain games definitely benefit from overclocking. Games like csgo, overwatch, pubg.

No need save and scrim so much la.

I think TS mentioned that he's not planning to overclock.

Can probably get i5 8400 and a good B360 motherboard to save some money.

Problem is a decent b360 and a decent z370 not alot of difference in price. I rather have the ability to have mce (which actually affects performance) and better resale value.
