Budget Gaming Rig

Hi, can you give me advice on what to buy? Budget up to $1.5k no need monitor/kb. PC put on floor. I generally play less hardcore and typically older games - Skyrim, Witcher etc. but want something that can play most older games at good performance and good enough to last 3-4 years playing new releases (don't need to be at max performance). Appreciate your help! Saw some other similar threads but the parts sometimes sold out alr etc. Want to make use of any BF/CM sales if it's a good deal.

lol this abit hard lei...with so many ongoing deals which will runs out instantly as well. even if we find and give u and u nv see.."pop" back to normal deals.

but tbh. dun bother going for amazon deals for the time been.

i5-6500 @ 325 - 50 = 275
zotac gtx 1060 @ 309 - 50 = 259
hdd combo @ 250 - 50 = 200
qoo10 total = 947 - 27 = 920
casing + psu = 100 and add another 30 for windows = 1050

This specs but up the gpu to 1070. Worth future proofing for games or maybe just for the pleasure of upgrading to 1080p 144hz or 1440p 60hz monitor.

tbh, gpu is the problem. now prices went up, hard to justify the high price. maybe i got spoilt by the recent price wars.

ts if u want to save more, get the asus h110m-a and tag with casing + ram. can get the entire rig for 1k only. but whether u need the extra ram slots is up to u.
