So my old Powercolor 7850 PCS+ recently started acting up... and I need to replace it as somehow loading web is kinda slow(at least isn't as fast) now using the IGP...

Any recommendation for 1 at ~$200? The only game I occasionally play is Dota2.

For below $200 can consider gtx 1050 more than enough for Dota

yes its more than enough for 1080p if not can consider RX 460 and maybe rx 470 4gb.

less about concern on whether can it run dota2, i know definitely more than adequate haha. but more on whether is it worth it.

If you are going to buy this, you might want to ask around in the Lazada thread for a 15 off 150 voucher code in a few days time.

I'm not.

I'm selling at this price because of the brand. If this is some random Palit / Leadtek / Weird unknown brands, i would have priced it below $200.

Please also note the GTX770 has about 90% the performance of a GTX1050Ti based on benchmarks. A new Asus GTX1050Ti price is as follows

1) Strix 1050Ti = $329
2) Expedition 1050Ti = $289
3) DUAL 1050Ti = $269

Of course, the 1050Ti has 4GB memory while my 770 only has 2GB. That's the catch. And yes I did mention prices are negotiable. Because I'm sick of encountering low ballers.

So expensive. topup a bit more can get gtx1060 for $250 at qoo10 with 5 year warranty.

An ASUS GTX1060 with 5 year warranty? If you're telling me a Asus GTX1060 with 5 year warranty selling for SGD250 at qoo10, I would gladly price match and sell my card to you for SGD100.

EDIT: Add in a more "easy to see comparison"

--
Please, when doing a comparison please compare with the same brand and not between a "premium" brand and a lower tier brand.

Yes, I know IT products is see heng suay. So it's up to you. Premium brands don't guarantee longer lasting and better performance. For all you know a cheapo Palit can last for 10 years, but an ASUS card can spoil in weeks.

EDIT: A easier to see example

Don't expect a flagship Samsung Phone to sell at the same price as a flagship Oppo phone. Even with similar hardware specs, surely the Samsung phone will be sold at a higher price in the second hand market.

So when doing comparison please at least compare Samsung to LG. and not "You must be joking, an old used Samsung phone so expensive? Top up a bit more can get a brand new Oppo flagship phone".

No. How fast your website load depend on your internet speed. A graphic card is not going to make your web load faster.

Maybe he refer to this?

Think what he meant was, probably browsers like Google Chrome is GPU accelerated. But I guess it's just a matter of starting up the browser when you click on the Chrome Icon shortcut to launch the browser that takes GPU power.
