Lol, so many hostile replies. How not to fight? :s13:

From a simple comparison reply and reply until HEVC encoding. :s13:

Please do go ahead with the $230 GTX770. You paid premium price for 1st hand, 2nd hand buyer equally needs to pay for premium price

u know why people are pissed off? it's because u trying to hard sell something that is relatively old and packaging as something that's superior when it's not.

really bro your 770 is overpriced

the 770 performs around 1050 level and we can get 1050 for $159 now

http://www.lazada.sg/palit-geforce-gtx-1050-stormx-2gb-gddr5-graphics-card-9975625.html

sure its not asus but it will run cooler and faster (maybe in newer game) then the 770. and brand new condition and warranty too

who will wanna buy a 3 year old card with one mth warranty for $230 when they can save $70 and get a card that runs better, better driver support and 3 years warranty :s22:

if really wanna compare asus to asus we can get asus 1050 for $239, which imo is not worth for a card like 1050

http://www.lazada.sg/asus-gtx1050-expedition-oc-edition-10754491.html

Finally. A civil minded reply with no intention of smacking me down flat.

I compared with the GTX1050Ti is because benchmarks shows these 2 are the closest (GTX1050Ti outperforms a 770 by 10%?), I personally feel the GTX1050 is more towards a GTX750Ti / GTX950 successor.

And also, I repeated many times. The price is negotiable, and I list at this price KNOWINGLY as sure got people lowball, ask for 80% discount (yes people like this exist, you sell a $100 item they offer you $20). Doesn't make sense to list my 770 at $180, and get bargained down even further.

I believe it is common to list a price higher than usual, with enough headroom for negotiation. Aye?

Woa, didn't expect so much to be happening here haha...

I am torned between 2 candidates.
Palit GTX 1050 Mini 2GB (3yr wty) - $150
ZOTAC GTX 1060 Mini 3GB (5yr wty) - $250

While the 1060 seems like a much better value buy, it far exceeds my current needs.

Struggle is real...

Don't worry TS. Typical people who are trying to bring other people down.

A simple recommendation to my graphic card sales become an all out war flame against me.

If you confirm strictly 100% only for Dota 2 and no intention of playing other games, get the Palit GTX1050 Mini at $150.

If you have the intention to try out other genres or play FPS games, I would recommend the GTX1060.

No point getting something better when you don't utilize the full potential.

And also, my philosophy is always the same. I rather you buy a lower end GPU and upgrade every year, than to buy an expensive one and expect it to last 5 years.

If you foresee yourself playing more-demanding games in the near future within 3-5 yrs at least, you should go for 1060.

Also, check for Zotac 1050, may be similarly priced but with 5 yrs warranty.

hmm.. if u only dota just go with the 1050 lo. 1060 is better for its value la. but up to u. one bad thing about the zotac 1060s is the cooling. they use very poor thermal paste and u might have to reapply better thermal paste if u want cooler temperatures.

where did u find the pricing for the 1060? that pricing is actually not that bad tbh. u shld really consider it as it will be good for future games.

The price I stated for the 1060 was for a shop at qoo10 called ASUS GAMER SHOP. I heard there was a $50 cart coupon for it but I can't find it. Anyone knows?

They also sell the zotac 1050 at $191, if can get $50 off then it's a better buy than the palit

Or maybe get the GTX1050Ti, in between both. XD :s13:

Kidding, the 1060 3GB has a better price performance ratio.

:eek::eek::(

The GPU die already... running on IGP.

Who knows maybe the promo is not gonna come back...:(

I think I will just get the pailt 1050 at $159 - 8%. Don't waste money...

Yup. If you stick to Dota2 Strictly 100% of the time, the GTX1050 will do. Don't overspend on something more powerful and end up you don't use it.
