anything new to dethrone truthear pure and hexa?
I felt one may need to have another 2 or 3 IEMs with different tuning to appreciate Hexa/ Pure a bit more :)

To replace Hexa/Pure, really need to go down the rabbit hole, hundreds of dollars to dethrone Pure/Hexa

yar.. thats true, ive owned about 7-8 iems, hexa and pure is tuned so well, technicalities are great as well with the 4 & 3 driver configuration, crossover is done well

even if i spent 5x more im not confident it will be better lol

What about Moondrop Aria 2?

I have all 3 (Hexa, Pure & Aria 2). On most days, i found myself reaching out for the aria 2 more.
I think Moondrop Lan 2 will be closer in technicality as compared to Pure or Hexa...however, some buddies prefer the tuning of Pure, while others prefer Aria 2...that is quite common :) Just need to find the tuning that you like and upgrade to that tuning with more technical competent IEMs :)

if i were to be honest, moondrop iems are overrated :flash:

usually the detail is brought out in unnatural fashion which is not really what i like

and also MEMs :)
speaking of mems, i kickstarter-ed kiwi ear halcyon.
Review of this say this set lose binary 321

my own take of this is, the metal shell damn comfy.
Sound wise, vocals quite mid, but the bass quite interesting. Soundstage also quite big
