She should have received a some info by now. Think orientation is this week. Better check that otherwise you could be wasting money on a notebook that's unsuitable.

Jus bought a second Lenovo X220. Good condition.

If want to improve speed, can change HDD to SSD.

If your pci is less than $950, you can apply for $800 subsidy. The subsidy can be more if apply under needy fund. Talk to student services, look for Eddie. Hope that helps.

Wait, look for Eddie if she goes to SP. If not simply goes to student services.

Buying from school is better because got 3 years warranty which can cover her study years. And i heard if any problem with their service, you can request help from the school which they are able to help you with.

Hello!

Per Capita Income = PCI.

Total gross monthly household income /
No. of household members living with applicant

Do contact the respective course in-charge here for min specifications and types of software which would be used by your daughters in the duration of her course of studies.

http://www.nyp.edu.sg/current-students/notebook-ownership-scheme/faq/contact-us

At the same time, I believe you would also be able to check with them on the types of schemes available to help you out!
