Budget new DIY gaming RIG

Helping an uncle to DIY rig for home use and light gaming. His budget is ~1k. No need monitor, KB + mouse.

Need some recommendation from the pro:

Psu: FSP hyper K 500W ( 69 PC themes)
Ram:Kingston hyper 2400mhz cl17 8gb (115 PC themes)
Casing: Any suggestion ~ 70
Graphic card: Palit GeForce GTX 1050 StormX 3GB DDR5 Graphics Card(192.5 lazada)
SSD:Samsung evo 250 (125 PC themes)
HDD: Toshiba 1tb 7200rpm @ 53
OS: Carousell ~20

Light gaming? Like e-sports aka dota2 overwatch? Or?

If e-sports, just get ryzen APU - ryzen 3 2200g/ryzen 5 2400g. You can save on the gpu then.

Ram: Up it to 2666mhz and 16gb instead
GPU: 1050ti or 1060 (if budget permits)
SSD: if can, 512GB. Nothing wrong with what you chose.
Casing: 70 only get you a genetic atx casing. If you're ok with that, then anything that pleases you cosmetically will do. You got more choices if you up the budget to 99 or 150.

the gaming part was for his children maybe less than 10 years old. intel processor was requested by my friend.

i already go over his 1k budget so now asking if got any thing to remove to hit the 1k mark. what casing will you suggest for around $70?

A little tweak for you. If want can up the gpu to zotac gtx 1050 will agar agar just nice hit 1k straight.
Total - $926 if going zotac 1030 or $996 if upgrade gpu to zotac 1050

Motherboard, no coz you need mATX mobo. The one you stated is ATX.

Lets say u decide to go for the nexus m case, better use modular power supply.. also at 1k+ i rather u get the cheapest board and spend more to get a tier 1-2 psu.. it's a component that's crucial.
