Budget of 1.2K

[BattlefieldAsia]

Hello people,
i've got a budget of 1.2k to upgrade my rig, currently using i5 2500 and 16GB of ram.
for the budge of 1.2k , i need only the CPU and Mobo + Gfx card.
will be gaming in 1440p.
Can the pros here help ?

Whats your current mobo??

If you intend to upgrade and play 1440p settings you may need a dual gpu instead and getting a 850w psu.

current mobo is H61M

is 1.2k enough for dual gpu and 850w ?
im currently using a 620w. was thinking of just getting a single 290 first.

You will need to swap out mobo to

Msi z97s sli plus + i5-4690k

Then dual r9 290 and a 850w psu, total $1.8k consider that 290 is on promo

Budget now only 1.2k . I think I get a single 290 first
