Hi guys, I am looking to build a new com mostly for my parents to check email, watch shows, do simple work tasks etc. Almost no gaming at all except for simple ones like Candy Crush which my mom likes to play, so I decided that I would probably not need a GPU. I would like to include an SSD as I think they would appreciate the responsiveness. For CPU I'm not sure if I should get Sandy, Ivy or Haswell. Pls advise. Here is a rough idea of the build I have come up with. Do chip in with all your recommendations!
Budget: $800
CPU + MB: i3 2120 and AS Rock B75M-DGS (do advise on better alternatives)
RAM: Any 4GB value RAM
SSD: Sandisk Ultra + 128GB (or any better alternative)
HDD: WD 1TB Blue (actually probably only need 500GB but 1TB is just $10 more zz)
ODD: Samsung OEM DVD (can I reuse my old one?)
PSU: FSP Hexa 500W
OS: Windows 7 Home (I have one copy from my own PC but I don't think it's possible to use the same one right?)
CASE: Corsair 200R (sleek and badass)
