The subwoofer which came with my JBL SCS 180/230 speakers died recently. I bought the speaker package from City Electronics Emporium in 2010.

Can anyone recommend a budget 10" subwoofer which can match the one I had? Mine was 10" (250mm) bass reflex, ported, with 150W RMS. As you can see from my speakers, I'm not really a high end audiophile. Just something decent but better than HTIB for movies and video games.

My only preference is that the subwoofer comes with dedicated LFE input connector. I was looking at Polk Audio PSW10 but it doesn't have dedicated LFE input and is only 50W RMS. My budget is below $500.

Which is a recommended shop at Adelphi? Any feedback/opinion on Anson Audio?

Thanks for your advice and recommendation.

Owned and changed a few subwoofers before. I will highly suggest getting 1 solid sub then going for budget sub. Immediately it will sound cleaner without setting tuning adjustment. 2 brands come to mind, rythmik and svs.
