After so many external 2.5" HDD, still have 2 working external 2.5" HDD. One is WD (will probably die anytime, sometimes unable to detect
), the other is Buffalo MiniStation (3yrs and still going very strong, no problems
). Think I bought my Buffalo HDD from Challenger, needed to get as my external HDD had failed (WD), and a friend recommended to get Buffalo brand, saying its fast and more reliable then other brands.
So, since I've always been buying 2.5" HDD, now looking to change and buy 3.5" HDD instead. Don't really need NAS atm, just looking for a plug-and-play HDD for storage.
Anybody here uses Buffalo external HDD? And where did you buy your HDD? Online or local (SLS/Challenger/PC Shows etc).
