Hi all,

Is it that this nas do not come with hdd?? You need to purchase it separately? I bought it as it said 1tb nas on the box. Then funny that it don't have hdd.

What's the model stated on the box? 1TB model is LS-X1.0TL whilst for enclosure only is LS-XL/E.

Main thing is how much you pay for the NAS?

Kind of expensive for single bay NAS imo. Anyway, any 3.5" Sata-II/III drive of up to 3TB should work on this box. Since this NAS doesn't have built-in fan, it's better to go for green or slower RPM drive. To be on the safe side refer to the Drive Compatibility list for info.

So any cheap single bay NAS to recommend? Understand you can get a Dlink 2bay for 90+. But what if one just want a reliable 1 bay NAS?.. dun really see many options, let alone cheap..
