Bug with touch ID?

Told my 10 years old daughter that she can only register 1 fingerprint on my iphone 6. Cos max is 5 fingerprints (my left+right thumb, right index, my wife thumb). So left only one for her.
She not happy, so she tried this:
When registering her fingerprint, she used her RIGHT thumb.
When the system ask her "Keep going to capture the edge of your print", she switched to her LEFT thumb instead.
Now both her left and right thumb can used to unlock the phone!

Well, I have tried using 5 fingers' print when registering it as one 'slot'. All 5 of them works!
