Have a heart, he could have really drop something and wanna look for it desperately.
theres no need to shout at him lah, why would you even have such thoughts?
I didn't shout at him lar.
I got such thoughts because I'm really curious to see how would he react to it.
But then, no point inviting all these unnecessary troubles to me, so I decided not to, and go on with my daily life.

Today morning inside an mrt station, I was traveling down an escalator from second floor to the first floor.

There was a bui guy carrying a white cane (used by blind people) at the first floor next to escalator, keep asking people whether got anything drop on the escalator. He then asked me which i replied 'I don't think so'.

Upon hearing that, he started traveling the next escalator from first floor to basement. Upon reaching the basement, he kept asking around whether got anything drop on the escalator.

I happened to travel this same escalator to basement; as he was disturbing a nearby auntie with his question, i siam him successfully & boarded an mrt.

I don't know if he was genuinely blind as he was able to walk around without the stick touching the ground. I was tempted to shout "knn siao lang" at him, but decided not to.

Does anyone met such similar encounter in mrt station before and how do you respond to it?
i think i know who u are referring to. i have encountered him multiple times. he will shout at people standing close to him, and when the train is reaching the station, he will also shout, asking people dont stand at the door, dont block him as he need to get out.

then when he exit the train, he will shout asking people to get out of his way.

i believe he has some mental issues as well.

Thanks, it's my first time encountering him today.
In that case, think just avoid him will be the safer option.

yah when i first encountered him, i was thinking how can someone, even if u are blind, to be so entitled. i was thinking if he shouted at me, i sure shout back at him. but after encountering him multiple times, i just think there's some underlying condition about him, so i will just siam him as far as i can. but one thing to note his voice is really high pitched and loud. lol. even on my anc earbuds, i still can hear him clearly. lol

Can get mrt staff to help him instead. But that aside not all handicapped ppl behave normally some act the other way round

Long time back I met this blind guy who was waiting roadside & he wanted to go to this church. So I flagged a taxi (that time grab haven't exist) & sent him there as it was along where I wanted to go

But he was 1 vulgar fella who kept cursing & swearing at why he couldn't get transport or some other stuff. So it really opened my eyes (pardon the pun) that being handicap dun mean they act the way we think they should

I would take the stairs.

He probably hears better than any of us and is asking because he senses something off with the escalator. Maybe a kingpin is coming loose.

He might have been trying to get a taxi for a long time, but no one fetched him. Then flared up like what some able-bodied people might do. Got good and bad people regardless of whether they have a disability or not.

Initially I thought he genuinely needed help so I looked around at the first floor escalator and replied "I don't think so" to his question of whether got anything drop.

When he next went down from first floor to basement via another escalator, & then asked the same question again to the people passing by, that's where I began to think: "oh man, is this some kind of siao lang or scam? ".
Maybe he indeed dropped something so he is tracing back his steps.
As he is harmless and not extorting ppl to give him something.
