[Build Help] 1440p/144hz Gaming Desktop

Helping my relative ask about this build. Budget might be around $3k.

Mostly playing shooter games like Escape from Tarkov, etc...he would like it to be more "future-proof" where possible.

I am thinking of building a new PC for myself, it's more budget oriented (under $2k). Mostly playing MOBA games like DotA2, sometimes shooter like CS:GO2 or TF2 etc...

Any suggestions on both builds? I think 5070Ti offers more value for the first build.

First build looks overpriced to me, and maybe overselling of some parts such as full ATX board. Nowadays mATX should suffice for most gamers. Power supply maybe can get cheaper instead of Corsair. For that price (maybe add 100-200), I can get mATX build with 5080/9800X3D, 2Tb Samsung 990 pro ssd from aftershock/invader pc

5060ti build just buy from invaderPC AM5 build get 5070/7700 for 1.55k can Liao. Also comes with decent motherboard Asus B650M-E tuf gaming plus. Just top up $50 for your Samsung ssd. Not sure why you choose ATX and pair with mATX. Low powered system.

if you choose 5060ti even cheaper, 1.25k can settle

Guess I'm a little picky of the components. I don't understand your "low powered system", at the most it is a mATX MB in an ATX case.

I’m a Nvidia camp guy. So kinda biased. To me: Nvidia makes the best GPUs, AMD makes the best gaming CPUs.
Most YouTubers also agree that 5070ti is a better overall card vs 9070 XT. However for certain games like COD, AMD cards seem to perform better. However, I play quite a variety of games so can’t pick AMD even though my main game is COD BO6.

5070TI still > 9070XT generally, despite how small the gap might be
DLSS4 still > FSR4

i bought 2x 9070XT because 2x 5070TI is beyond my budget~
I also bought a regular 9070

B4 this yr, all my cards are nvidia, i also have a 4070TI Super
If 5070TI was cheaper bye 200-300 bucks more i would have 3 of them
