i think the last piece of the puzzle will be the fittings.

finally got my time to build this long overdue system.

1st order of business to take a part my brand new MSI GTX970 Gaming apart! First time using nvidia, hope its good. Going to SLI both cards!

Reason for MSI, cause I believe in MSI and Corbell after sale service.
Using EK Acrylic Block and black plate.

so here goes, took me 1 hour to figure out and fit the water block and backplate.

Realised the non-ref board have far lesser vrams or what not to paste the thermal stickers lol. the ref board have a crapload from what i seen in videos.

The Maxwell Architecture. GM204. Sorry for bad lighting. I did it at night and room light not very strong. Taken using a macro lens 60mm f/2.8 lol

The way i apply the TIM is fail. lol. nevermind la. remove some excess and its in a STAR shape as recommended by EK

Screw them in and its fitted!
Love the EK full acrylic look and the backplate looks damn sleek! it helps to dissipate some heat from the card back vrams.

* My new canon 70D and 17-55mm f/2.8 lens is sharp as hell!

Fitted another gpu with the same block and backplate
2 cards in its finest glory! love the look! ready to SLI them!
IMG_0181_zpsubdmnwyg.jpg

Next step, installing the water loop bridge between the 2 cards. prefer the look instead of tubes. lol

Fitted together with the SLI EVGA Bridge. Lucky the 2 way bridge fitted.

Positioned my photon 170 glass res and decided to use 2 of the aligned holes in the case to hold my res
IMG_0200_zpsag35mvk1.jpg

drilled 2 holes on the metal plate that holds the res. damn thick and solid the plate.
use 2 bolt, 2 nut and 2 rubber spacers to create some space between the res and the case, reason being its close to the wiring rubber grommets, creating space can allow wires to route better to the board
