Building a gaming pc (1k~)

Hi, new member here. i have absolutely zero knowledge on pc building and the budget can be slightly exceeded.

EVGA GTX 970 (04G-P4-2974-KR)
NZXT PHANTOM 410 BLACK
I5-4690K
GIGABYTE GA-Z97MX-GAMING 5
SEAGATE 7200RPM 1TB HDD (ST31000SN1A1AS-RK)

i have no idea what PSU i need nor RAM and i would like suggestions on what else to get and if my current 'build' is good. and also, i would like to know if i really need an SSD and HDD or either or a hybrid, and please explain it in extremely layman terms.

Bro, I am quite sure you need to state the purpose of your rig. Gaming? What games? Workstation? What softwares? Also I think you will most definite exceed your budget.

Are you overclocking? If not then no need for the K processor. If you are overclocking then you need an aftermarket cpu cooler.

With regards to SSD, in my humble opinion, the best budget setup would be 128GB for OS then 1TB HDD for storage. With this you benefit from fast windows and more reasonable priced mass storage.

And yes SSD is a lot faster than HDD.
