First of all about budget, I'll go most about $2,400
Building this for my own birthday present on this Sunday ><
Here are the parts that I'm looking forward to buy

MotherBoard: MSI Z97 MPower Intel Core i7-4790K @ 4.00GHz
HDD: Toshiba HDD 1TB
GPU: Palit GeForce GTX 980 Super JetStream 4GB DDR5
RAM: Kingston 8GB x2
Case: N600 Cooler Master
PSU: CX Series Modular CX750M
DVD/BLURAY WRITER : LG 24X SATA DVDRW OEM

I have the rest of other part*
My question is, would it be enough for me to use 2.4k to get all those parts above? or I could get something else better and cheaper?

Thank you in advance !

Drop the motherboard and cpu to a H97 and i5 4460. Save you around $150 and almost same gaming performances.

Get a SSD.

Change PSU to some elses like FSP Aurum 500W, etc.

Are you doing photoshop, video rendering, etc? If not, get a 8gb ram will do. same gaming performance.

Yes I do video rendering too, SSD is still not the need for now i guess, i mean, its not that important for now, vould dona upgrade later? But with my current parts list, about how much it gonna cost me?

May I know which game will you be playing?

I want to build this pc to be able to get a good framerate with high setting on battlefield 4 and more on other steam game.
I would say a hardcore gamer ? But still i dont know if i could get all the parts with 2.4k or lesser.

Based on PCThemes pricelist,

MSI Z97 MPower Intel Core i7-4790K @ 4.00GHz - 846
HDD: Toshiba HDD 1TB - 69
GPU: Palit GeForce GTX 980 Super JetStream 4GB DDR5 - 799
RAM: Kingston 8GB x2 - 88 x2 (Value Ram)
Case: N600 Cooler Master - 119
PSU: CX Series Modular CX750M - 129
DVD/BLURAY WRITER : LG 24X SATA DVDRW OEM - 25 (ASUS OEM)
Total - 2,163

So it should be within your budget. And below is my 2cents worth:
1) Consider getting a 250/256GB SSD for your OS if your budget allows. You can wait for promotion on Lazada to save some $$ (normally there are $20 discount off $100 min. spending coupons)
2) For your GTX 980, consider waiting for promotions on Lazada or Rakuten. On tuesday, Rakuten has a pretty standard tuesday promotion of 15% + 5% discount for Asus Strix GTX 980 ($959 before discount, around $774 after using a mastercard). If your prefer sticking with Palit, can wait for Lazada to have one of its $100 off $500 spending codes and get your super jetstream one ($858 before discount, $758 after discount).
3) Any reason why you are looking at 16GB of ram? For gaming purposes, i believe 8GB is sufficient.
4) For PSU, i would recommend going for one which is Gold certified. Don't save on a good PSU. Also, you don't need so high wattage PSU if your going single GPU build. (However, 500W-650W PSUs seem to be oos at SLS)
5) happy birthday!

Note: just my 2 cents which may not be right.

Will it goes beyond my budget? 2.4k?

1) Would also recommend a ssd since right now your build only comes in at around 2.1k.

2) Get a better power supply like superflower 750w gold.

3) Since you are getting a 4790k, are you considering overclocking? If so, consider spending the remaining budget on a cooler.

1. For now I'll keep with HDD 1TB, have to see how much I have left first.
spending on LCD Screen too :(
2. I found one on SLS for Palit GTX 980 Super Jetstream at $799 without discount I think thats the cheapest in SLS?
3. I'm going for 16GB because I do video editing/rendering and photoshop a lot too.
4. Is there any different for Gold or Bronze certified? Seem like its on a good price and Watt thats why I'm going for it.
5. Thank you ! Hope I build this PC as my Birthday Present <3

1. I'm staying on HDD for now, SSD not really needed yet. Would spend on something else first.

2. Yes, thats the reason why I'm going for Palit GTX 980 SUPER JetStream 4GB DDR5

3. Do I have to go for water cooling? or just good fan ?

Thank you !

Yes overclocking GPU

I'll stay on HDD for now.
About the PSU, Superflower is consider worth for price? or the performance?
I like that Fractal Design R5 too, would probably go for this one XD

Thank you !

The SSD will be a significant upgrade for your rig configurations. IMHO, with that budget, you should try to fit in one.

You can get the R5 and GFX from lazada and Rakuten respectively for more cost saving.

1. I think like what everyone is sharing, for a pc with your budget, u shld really consider adding in an SSD.
2. Not too sure if its the cheaper in SLS. But if you buy it from Lazada/rakuten, probably get more savings (if you have frank credit card, thats another 6% discount). Could use the savings to fund your SSD.
4. Its a certification of the psu's efficiency. Gold has better efficiency than bronze, hence will waste less power compared to the bronze psu. If your keeping ur pc on for long durations everyday, gettingg a higher efficiency psu would be advisable.

While a SSD does not improve your fps that much, it significantly reduces loading times allow you to jump into action sooner.

When you buy an SSD, will it comes with the SATA cable as well? Or you need to purchase it separately? I just found out that my motherboard only provides two SATA cables. They are used for my ODD and HDD at the moment. :(
