Updates on the build...finalize on the following

Case: H500i (for the whole RGB integration thing)
CPU: I7-8700K
Mobo: Asrock Z370
RAM: 16GB DDR4 2666MHz
GPU: GTX 1080TI
CPU Cooling: NZXT Kraken X62
SSD: 500GB Samsung Evo NVMe M.2 SSD
HDD: 2TB Toshiba
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3

Just few final tweaks that need advise from gurus here...
1) Go for 2x8gb or 1x16gb? not really sure about single or dual channel difference
2) Thinking of replacing NZXT Kraken with aircool that still able to accomodate moderate OC of cpu..any recommendation?

TIA!:s12:

1. 2x8GB for sure. Dual channel means 2 sticks (technically not correct, but it's the most dumb proof way to be sure without needing to dig the specs of the motherboard to the ground as some site the specs page not clear enough and you might need to download the manual to be sure)

2. Locally, get Cryorig R1 Universal/Ultimate. Universal for nice bling bling ram and you need the clearance, Ultimate for low profile ram like Corsair Vengeance LPX. Get Noctua NH-D15 or Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 from oversea like Amazon, Newegg, Taobao.

3. Which motherboard you getting? Asrock got quite a few models.
