Building a new rig. just need mobo+cpu+gpu

Hello fellow gurus!

I need help on building a rig as mine 4-5 years already quite old running a i5-2500. I just need to change mobo, cpu and gpu. What is a good mobo+cpu combination today plus a gtx 1070 for under $900? Can stretch to 1k if needed. Also is ddr3 ram still being used on today's new mobo and chip?

Will be recycling my corsair hx850w. Primarily using the com for gaming purposes like Overwatch Bf1 etc.

Just get GTX 1070 will do for time being..

For you better wait for AMD Zen or Intel Kaby Lake...

Any idea when that will come out? Cuz my mobo now got ground loop issue with my headset plus my computer keeos on black screen and freezing so i wanna change all the main components asap .

Kaby Lake tentatively from September onwards. AMD Zen early January next year..

gpu:MSI R270x
psu:Corsair HX 850w
ram:10gb team elite DDR3 - 1333mhz 2 x 4gb + 1 x 2gb (one of the 2gb stick spoiled)
ssd: 120gb samsung
hdd: seagate 1tb

hmmmm sept ar... i see how long this comp of mine lasts first because this black screen freeze problem seems to be on and off. When it's on it's really persistent then the next day it can be fine. I tried reinstalling latest and older amd driver and the problem still there. Few weeks back i also had the windows display driver stopped working and recovered message so i figured maybe my gpu is dying.

Just get zotac GTX 1070, should be the cheapest GTX 1070 u can get.

Isn't that for laptop chips though? Desktop chips might be next year.
