Hi all,

Would like to build a PC, looking at ard $2k in total or lesser (better) inclusive of screen and a keyboard.

Mind sharing any good recommendations? Looking at PCKAKI and Xanda Gaming, they have quite good reviews.

Long lasting PC that runs smoothly, running games like Fortnite / PUBG / League etc and movies.

Thanks to all the pros out there in advance. :)

What would be your monitor resolution? Full HD, 1440p or 4K?
Do check your inbox too :)

You want to DIY like purchasing parts on your own and fix it

Or you want to config and get somebody to fix it?

Cheers

Im probably looking to get someone to config for me.
Anyone can give quick lessons? The more I read around the more confusing things get haha. What should I be looking out for?

Was given the following recommendation. How good would these items be or how much would they be worth?

ID-Cooling Frostflow+ 240, Snow
Sata ssd 240gb
HDD 1TB 64mb cache @7200Rpm
Galax GTX1060 6GB
EVGA 500BV 500W
Tecware Nexus Tempered Glass

Monitor: AOC E2470SWJ
Keyboard: Armaggeddon MKA-7C

Before proceeding, what are your requirements? What will you be using it for? Gaming; at what resolution, what details eg. medium, high, ultra settings. What is your maximum budget? If in tight budget can consider ryzen 5 1500 for 4 core 8 thread or 1600 for 6 core 12 thread. The thing in here thats the killer price is the ram and the graphics card. To find out the total cost of the system you mentioned, you can refer to Fuwell pricelist online. I always use them as a benchmark. To be more safe you can refer to pc themes pricelist so you can have both comparison.

Check SLS Carousell

You can get the following for about

I5-8400
8-16gb Ram
240-256gb SSD
GTX 1060 6gb
500W PSU

Skip any watercooling or cooling options.
Totally a waste of money for an I5-8400
Just stick to Intel Stock Air Cooling

You should be able to get it for <$1600 WITH monitor for a GTX 1060 6gb
OR $1400 for a GTX 1050TI

Both of which can play the games you want nicely.
