Hi all,

After one month of intensive reading with all the information and do some research myself, I am finally going to build my own rig, this is the list I have come up with. However, I am not very sure if it is fine. I would need all the pro advise before i went down to buy the rig.

My budget 1.1k for the rest of the parts (cpu, ram, psu, monitor keyboard, speaker, case and os)and I have gotten some of the items while its cheap. so I have listed them down. I don't have any preference colour theme as long as its cheap. I will be connecting my rig with LAN cable so don't need WiFi card. I am not very sure if I would be able to get a skylake cpu with this budget.

The purpose of this rig will be use for photo editing (Lightroom and Photoshop) but not very intensive one so i hope 8gb ram is enough. The game I will be playing will be like BF4, LoL, Dota 2.

item which i have gotten is Palit GTX970 JetStre ($399 with Qoo10 BF discount) and Transcend ssd370s 256GB (lazada)

MSI H81M-E35 V2 /w i5-4460 - $349.00 (pc theme) or ASROCK B85M-PRO4/w i5-4460 - $379.00 (pc theme)
Kingston 8gb ddr3 ~ $65 (pctheme)
Wd blue 1tb ~ $77 (pc theme)
Superflower Leadex Silver 90+ Full Modular 650W $129 (lazada paying with citibank credit card with further saving) or FSP Aurum S 500W Gold 80+ - $84.15 (Lazada)
fractal design r5 $149 (lazada paying with citibank credit card with further saving)
Win8 64 oem ~ $30 (Reddit)
monitor u2414h $339 from Sitex

total about $1061 without all the credit card discount. the rest of the money will be use to get keyboard and speaker. kindly advise me on which cpu and psu selection is better for my need and usage.

Thank you very much for reading, and thanks in advance for your replies:s13::s13::s13:.

How about Asrock H81M-HDS + i5 4460 @ $333 PC theme?

I will choose FSP Aurum S 500W.

It is cheaper and provides the same features as MSI H81M-E35 V2.

Hi thanks zenniz, I will take your suggestion. I will be heading down to sls to get the rest of the item. Anyone has any comment on my bill or further advise ?
