i am using a 1080p monitor. use for the next few years. no need to future proof. budget wise as long as value im okay with it. all this will go into my corsair crystal 460x.

GTX 1080 is also around 800+. Pay a few $$ and get that instead of 1070...

Some comments on your build:

(1) If you are not going to SLI, get the B350 motherboards instead. They support overclocking as well.

(2) Don't have to buy WD Black Hard Disk since you are going for a SSD, buy a WD 1TB Blue or Toshiba 1TB Hard Disk instead. Save the money for a better video card or larger capacity SSD.

(3) Go for a GTX 1080 as it costs about the same as the MSI GTX 1070. There's a Leadtek WinFast GTX 1080 that you can consider as well but have to check how long is the warranty (comes with local warranty). You can apply the shop coupon ($40 off min. $500 purchase) together with the $100 Qoo10 cart coupon. Price will be $709 after applying shop and cart coupon.

1070 for 1080p might be a little overkill.

Depending on one's expectations for OCing, an X370 board may be a justifiable choice.

1) if you're not hardcore OC, B350 is enough. But if you hardcore OC.. den you should buy after-market HSF - which is missing.

2) Ryzen is ram sensitive, esp on the 3200 frequency. if you get a samsung B-die you can do 3200. Else, maybe only up to 3000. as far as i know, it is impossible to get a B-die gskill 3200 in SLS. i bought mine from newegg.com

3) don't buy m.2 if you're using evo. use a normal SATA disk. only use m.2 if you using a SSD which runs the PCI-E protocol.

4) ryzen 1600 can be purchased from amazon for 290SGD

Correction for number 2 lol.

There are plenty of Trident Z red that is 3200mhz 2x8gb kit in sls. But it is the CL16 module single rank.

Do note that even if it is samsung B die, it doesnt mean that you will get 3200mhz. Its a hit or miss, but yes it is a higher chance to get it run at 3200mhz.

I have tested 2 sets of trident Z red. 1 set can run on certain am4 boards, while some cant. It really depends highly on the board manufacturer to get it fixed.

Number 3, i tend to disagree that buying m.2 will be only good for pcie ssd. They works both for sata based and pcie ssd. And i dont see why people should not buy m.2 sata based. Care to explain?

Cause to me, now most boards have at least 2 slots of m.2. It is fine to either get one of them as secondary storage. M.2 based ssd are also great if you want to get rid of the ugly sata cable and the sata power cable lol.

In general m2 runs slightly hotter than Sata disks becos of the surface area, positioning and it's orientation.

In addition, on some mobo, plugging in the m2 disables 2x sata ports. So I say, unless you need the additional bandwidth of pcie, then no point using m2.

Furthermore, the sata drive drive is transferable to a laptop in case of whatever reason. M2 not really.

So. The way i see it, m2 is only faster if you use pcie. Otherwise you only get a sleekier neater layout

Choice between x370 and b250 is dependent on how much u wish to overclock. As for PSU, better to get a "cleaner" PSU if ur Budget allows, and especially so if u are OCing. For now, seasonic prime is one of the top choices.

Yes indeed most x370 chipset now comes with 2 m.2 slots. Hence thats where im comparing.

Only the b350 board has 1 m.2 slot. For that it make sense only to buy 2.5inch ssd.

The hard disk should buy from local shops or online shops instead as they are selling for $72 or less. The RAM is cheaper if you buy locally as well.
