What is the purpose of this desktop beside gaming? Video/photo editing as well?

RAW photos editing? Or just normal jpeg editing?

Do you store tons of RAW photos?

All this have to take into considerations before we can give you a recommendations.

MSI B85m G43 + i7-4770 ~ $487
Gskills Ripjaws 2x8gb kit ~ $173
Seagate 2tb ~ $113
Plextor m5s 128gb ~ $139
Leadtek GTX660 2gb ~ $273
FSP Hexa 500W ~ $58
Sharkoon MS140 ~ $54
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit ~ $115
Samsung ODD ~ $21 (Optional)

Total $1412 w/o ODD. Ask for more discount to meet your budget.

I would recommend the WD Black if you say that you had more RAW photos rather than jpeg. But in this case you mentioned that you have more jpeg than RAW. The Seagate 2tb would suffice your needs.
