Hi all, paiseh hijack this thread as I have similar requirements too.

Thinking of getting the following...need advice which is recommended:
CPU+MOBO: Asrock H81M-DGS + G3220 (or i-3 4130??)
RAM: Kingston DDR3 4GB/ G Skill CL9 or CL11?
SSD: Adata or Plextor?? 128GB
HDD: WD 1TB Blue or Green??
LG 24x DVD-RW Sata OEM
Any advice on which casing+psu for the above config?

Current budget around $800 and need to get a monitor too...

Thanks in advance :s12:

CPU+MB: Intel Celeron G1610 + ASRock B75M-DGS @ $117
More than enough for office use.
RAM: Crucial DDR3-1600 CL11 4GB @ $45
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB @ $76
ODD: Samsung 24X CD/DVD Writer [OEM] @ $21
CASE+PSU: In Win BK644 + Powerman IP-P300BN7-2 300W SFX [80 Plus] @ $89
Solid, small chassis with 2 years warranty.
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit [OEM] @ $115
DSP: Dell Ultrasharp U2312HM 23" LED [eIPS] @ $248
With quality LG eIPS panel, comprehensive swivel/pivotal function and powered USB Hub ideal for office use, covered by lengthy 5 years warranty.
I see no better choice than this.
