Hi Guys

I am hoping to build a small form PC , mini ITX with a budget of $550
or just a $550 for a "normal" PC

Can anyone help me with this project ?

To see how much can my budget stretch to design one of the price worthy CPU

for reference

500 buys a videopro i3 set with everything

Hmm, also interested at looking at building a miniPC in the next month, with similar budget (less than $550). Am thinking an Intel NUC would serve me well, but still acceptable/open to any ultra small ITX rigs that would be possible within budget as well

Already have laptop ram that I could use for NUC tho...

Best of all worlds~ :D

CPU+MB: Intel Pentium G2130 + MSI B75IA-E33 @ $183
RAM: ADATA Premier DDR3-1600 CL11 4GB @ $43
GPU: Sapphire HD 7750 1GB [Low Profile] @ $145 (PC Themes)
Giving you enough punch for max quality, smooth experience on all light gaming titles.
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB @ $76
CASE+PSU: In Win BM650 [Black] + Powerman IP-AD180-2 180W Flex ATX [80 Plus Bronze] @ $109
System power consumption will only hit 120-130W at most, leaving relatively comfortable headroom and moderately audible system.

Total: $556

Buy others from Tradepac, #05-19.

bro imo i think that the reason to top up to pay for a more ex mobo is because the more ex one offers the specs you need or that because you likes the design of the mobo such as the dragon on the msi gaming board. hahaha honestly abit regret buying my msi mobo just because i like the dragon when i can save up on buying a normal mobo but thats what i think, might not apply to you~~

thanks bros.

I realised i was referring to a micro ATX instead of a mini ATX
Size of a micro ATX > mini ATX

Any price worth Mobo/CPU bundle for this genre and build ?

@ thanks Jian19 for the recommendation

anyone else ?

just to check with bros if miniITX system would experience potential heat/lag problem ?

If u use with a gfx that loads with high temp then might have heat issue...if just using onboard then no problem

I suppose it's for daily usage and no gaming for ur system ?

Confirm cannot inside $500 la. My ATX with worse specs than that already $800. Dunno why he post here for what. Show off e-penis only.:s22: Whether overheat or not depends on your casing and the CPU and GPU lor.

Can try a small mATX rig

i3 3220+B75M-DGS ~$200
8GB DDR3 Kingston ~$90
Sharkoon mATX $50
FSP 300W ~$40
1TB drive ~$80
DVD ~$22

Pricing all estimate cos im too lazy to check. But should be close to $500.
If you want to play game then i3 change to a Pentium and cut the RAM to 4GB. The savings can get you a Powercolor HD7750 ~$90.
