Building new gaming PC

Hi guys,

Pc finally died and I'm looking to get a new 1.

Budget is 1.5k (box only, no need for peripherals, os, etc). Not planning to OC. Dont need HDD.

Mainly play fps games, 1440p 120hz. Can laojiaos advise please?

I can wait if got upcoming sale. Also, is Ivan still around? Got my last setup from him

Mainly OW, but I play AAA titles as well. Wont need 120hz on those though.

Won't the pentium be a bottleneck to that powerful 1080ti? That pentium should only pair with a 1060 or max a 1070 imo.

He's trolling obviously. Overwatch at 120fps stable with Pentium is hard even if you lower settings to lowest.

Aga aga items can consider, can't load up price list and data is horrible using Msian card...

H110i MSI AC + 7500 (W stock cooler)
2x8 GB DDR4 2133mhz (Samsung/Kingston)
620W seasonic + gtx 1070 (choice of AIB or reference style depends on case) (bundled package for lower price)
No need hdd but ssd need? Can just grab a 250/500gb 850 Evo / Crucial m200
Case well depends on your preference, techware has some great matx cases, or can go for the TT core/fractal design nano S

The bottle neck is insane and who in the right mind with cash to burn would go for such a Budget CPU.
