building own PC. need advise!

Hello guys! i'm thinking of building a custom made CPU but i am totally lost here. need some advises from you bros. these are the problem that i'm currently facing:

- which Msi should i get if i want my PC to be fast performance?
- what should i need in order for me to play MMORPG smoothly?
- which Graphic Card, Cooler fans should i get?
- how many Gb Ram should i get?
- Anything other things that i need to get?

P.S: my budget for this is as low as possible. below $1k. thanks bros for your advices!

i already have a sonic gear speaker.
currently using samsung smart tv to play my ps3. I can tap a HDMI cable to use as a monitor
which OS should I use? and sorry, what is kb/m?
