I mix with my preworkout BCAA drink, which I always find to be exceedingly sweet anyway, so the bitterness of bulk BCAA makes it in fact more palatable.

How much is shipping from MF to SG? iherb has NOW BCAA 340g for US$28.03 and free shipping. If shipping from MF is expensive then that would kill the deal...

How do yall ship your stuff from overseas sites? Direct, or through a freight forwarder? Haven't ordered anything bulk from overseas for a couple years now...I bought a sh*tload of BCAAs a couple years back that only just ran out couple months back...

Hmm for bb.com and the bigger sites with a larger intl customer base they would generally have cheaper intl shipping. Truenutrition doesn't really cater to foreign customers so freight forwarders will probably give a better price.

OK, will check it out. Been getting from iherb but was wondering if there are cheaper options.

Taking the watermelon flavour. It is like a shot to the face because of how bad it tastes.

Yall feel the difference with >2:1:1?

I tried reading up on this as 2:1:1 is so far the only studied ratio AFAIK..

here's what I found.
-most company reps said it was because leucine is cheaper, so a 4:1:1 product is cheaper to producer.
-leucine is the amino acid with the strongest mTOR activation compared with the other two BCAAs (min 3g to illicit a response)
-iso and valine may be helpful for weight/fat loss
-metabolism of leucine requires the other two amino acids in a 2:1:1 ratio.

TLDR:
Consume at least 3g of leucine.

Currently using the Ultimate Nutrition Cherry and unflavored ones from nutritionpark. I mix them in a 1:1 ratio because the flavored always taste too sweet and artificial while the unflavored taste like crap (that's the normal taste of BCAA).

Cherry imo taste quite good because it actually taste like cherry, not too sweet and more natural than artificial.

Had the blue raspberry but found it sweeter and more artificial than cherry flavor.

Does BCAA need to be saturated into your body? Currently i only consume BCAA on gym days(4-times a week, a serving b4 workout).
