Start your apps development company and apps training company.

Now government grants can help you start business at virtually zero cos you can claim back 160% of your investment.

i am damn curious.. what grant is that?
I am in the midst of my apps company and we are in the capital stage (capital stage basically means we not enough capital)

haha. serious or not? 160%? how to get!

Just some factors to consider:

No.1: Is the retail place/mall/centre even 24 hours? The purchased space is outdoor retail space where people can access to your business? Otherwise no point for 24 hours.

No.2: How big is the space?

No.3: What is the rental every month like?

No.4: How much do you intend to pay for water and electricity provided you need the two to run your business?

No.5: Who are your targeted audience? Spending power? What does the retail space mainly consists of? Eateries? Services? What type of crowd? Families/Office/Teenagers?

I believe once you sort these out, you will have a clearer picture which business is viable.:D

I knew of the coin laundry service when I read a book something like 10 things that make you millionaire.

This student who came out with a entrepreneur idea in class who later later quit his job and opened a laundry auto service. His business was good and low overhead, a business man find it interesting and lucrative and bought the business over. There he became millionaire.

something likedat .. read 3-4 years ago

I have one of the outlet near my house. At a old neighbourhood where even the neighbourhood doesnt even know it exist, they dont even give flyers. The laundry service is quite popular in other countries where especially the weather may be too wet and cold that your clothes are not dry completely.

That is why I cant seem to figure out how it will work in Singapore where almost everyone can afford a washy and bake their laundry dry under the sun at their home connivence. However I checked it out and I find the price affordable for the amount of load, which probably is 3 weeks of laundry i guess. In long term, the consumer actually saves money as a good washy with dryer sets you $1000 for 5 year warranty, and not including the electricity and water bills.

Unfortunately many ppl prefer connivence to do laundry at home.
I do see many old folks using the service thou. Can sit there kill time , la kopi and save money.

With shrinking HDB flat sizes, insufficient laundry space, large items like bedsheets, comforters, sofa covers, and curtains that is difficult to wash with small load washer at home. Will these trends promote self service laundry? :s11:
