Are there any business/services that help with purchasing stuff in thailand and bring them back to sgp and vice versa ?

Something similar. Friends do bring stuff back but when you want quantity etc and need someone who actually travels and searches/sources for these items.

Looking for such services would appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction. My googlefu is lacking so thought i'd try here.

What kind of stuff are you looking for? For clothings, there are plenty of wholesalers doing exporting in Thailand .

Actually your fren can do it himself.
Its not really that hard to find as suppliers r plenty.

But need to do checking till u r satisfy before paying in cash.

There r plenty of forwarders to choose from and rates is very competitive especially if there are a few forwarder shops fighting for business.

What my fren do is just carry 2 big luggage trolley. Things like cloths easily can squeeze 100 pcs. Bring back to hotels.
big items like shoes in boxes, she will borrow the trolley from the forwarder as the shop is inside yao warat itself...juz walking distance n push it to the forwarder shop ready to pack n go.

The forwarders will help to arrange up to sg doors n u can even pay gst upfront to clear sg customs.

Ship by air...coz anything below 200kg the price difference compare to seafreight is about 300sgd diff but at least u get your goods within 5 working days rather than 10 days.

High value items try to bring back as luggage.
