$450

Bought a Powercolor Fighter 6700 XT to play with :D and Starfield Premium comes with it.

I'll stick the RTX 3070 back in later and see how it goes.
Bought same 6700Xt but from aftershock Shopee at 439 after daily coupon and also come with starfield premium edition

My GPU will struggle with this game, but fortunately, I have given up PC gaming. Thanks to all the ridiculously demanding games of 2023, I really don't see any reasons to throw money away just for the sake of playing some fancy looking games.

i tried hub optimized settings it looks good

but even so will require an rtx 3080 to run smoothly all the time in 1080p

you can try armored core, it runs well :ROFLMAO:

You don't have to give up PC gaming. You just have to give up AAA PC gaming or Ultra Settings PC gaming.

TBH, most are just boring anyways. Indies games are where the fun is at!

Thanks, updated. Same error.

I got the same error again with the RTX 3070 so that rules out GPU.

Should be Windows problem. Doing a fresh build tomorrow.

Yup, Windows as expected. Updating to the latest Win 10 version solved the issue.

Wonder what Windows had to do with graphics card not meeting minimal standards. Looks like a way to force holdouts to update. I wonder who owns Bethesda?

Hey folks, how is Starfield ah?

When most mainstream reviews scored it a minimum of 9/10 and then bloody IGN and Gamespot scored it 7/10, something is very wrong. Those chuck of reviews go, "this is alright, that's okay, that's no good, that's very bad, that's horrible, 9/10!"

I gather Starfield has good sound work, gun-play and side stories. Lousy main story with lousy AI, inventory and map systems. Too many load screens while using decade old mechanism. All resulting in the lack of immersion. Technically, nothing cutting edge and it is poorly optimized.

At the start of the day, I brushed aside a comment made by Michael Higham of Gamespot. By the end of the day, I've reconciled with that comment. "A journey that is a mile wide, but an inch deep." A view held by the more critical reviews.

So 1. Are you a Bethesda diehard? 2. How is Starfield?

Gameplay-wise, BG3 is 4/10, and Starfield is 6/10.

These days the threshold is really low, many new games are overhyped.

I don't care about game companies.

Been waiting for this benchmark video from HWU. AMD is looking really good in Starfield.

I am on the 2nd last chapter of starfield, the game is quite short, and my playtime is just 20 hours, i wasted like 3hour building my spacehip too.

Hogwarts Legacy is def a much better game. The storyline, combat, cutscene and world exploration on HL on a completely different level, I had way higher immersion on HL than SF.

Starfield price should be cut by half honestly, it has generic combat, average storyline, cutscene and conversations are mostly boring.

The only thing that stand out in SF is the spaceship customization and exploring planets which is new to me but might not be for others.
