Yes.

Warranty for all Apple products is international, except for iPhone.

To me, best to buy apple products locally. Dunno why must buy from other countries. If you buy macbook from Uk, spain, france, japan or thailand your keyboard will be different. :s22: If you buy apple products from US, your power socket only got 2 pin.

I think buy from changi airport terminal 3 before departure with 7% tax free will be most ideal. IMHO.

often time, savings from buying apple products in a different country can substantially amount to more than the 7% tax off prices offered at changi airport...

fyi, based on my own personal experience, buying Macs from japan does not necessarily mean getting keyboard layout that is different than what we get here in singapore... in japan, consumers have the option to pick a US layout keyboard for their Macs, instead of getting one with a japanese layout... even for MBPs...

as for power supply connectors, apple products for the japanese market come with the two-pins socket... but easily rectified with an adapter...

so i wouldn't consider buying an apple product at changi as being the most ideal... so now you know why...
