Hello guys! My current computer is faulty and the suspected part is the motherboard. Even though the processor (I5-3470) and the remaining parts are still working, I do not think that it is wise to get another socket 1151 motherboard. So, I have decided to get a new computer with a budget of $800 (less is better haha).
My computer usage is:
I have come up with the following specs for my new computer:
CASE: Fractal Design Define Mini C or Corsair Obsidian 350D [I want something light and do not look too mainstream
]
MOBO+CPU: Ryzen 5 1500X or 1600 with ASROCK AB350M or Intel I5-7400/7500 [I only want mATX mobo]
RAM: Kingston Valueram DDR4 2133MHz 4GB * 2
PSU: Reuse Seasonic G 550W (4 years old) - [Should I reuse it?]
SSD: Reuse
HDD: Reuse
GPU: Reuse
OS: Reuse
Monitor: Reuse
I still cannot decide if I should get 1500X or 1600 (AMD route) or even to choose Intel. What are your thoughts, guys?
