Has anyone bought directly from XiaoMi (China website) and used either Vpost or Daigou to freight over?

Please advise, as I am thinking of getting a few items (the scale, the ip cam and Note Pro phone)

You will need a china mobile number for purchase confirmation, and they do not accept visa/master/paypal, only union pay and china bank payment.

2 options; depends on what you are buying

buy from xiaomi china http://www.mi.com/index.html
as mentioned above; cannot buy directly; need to use buyforme service, e.g. 65daigou

buy from xiaomi tmall http://xiaomi.tmall.com/
buy using normal taobao method, use the taobao in-built forwarder to ship to singapore

generally, item selection on xiaomi tmall is smaller compared to xiaomi china

note: if you are buying items with in-built lithium batteries, need special attention; may have to ship using "sensitive air" or via ship

note: presume you know that no local warranty if you buy from china; also phones from china do not have google play pre-installed
