Hi guys I'm currently in USA and might want to get an iPhone 6. T-mobile is offering no contract unlocked ones. I'm just curious if the LTE bands are compatible with singapore? From what I read it seems to be compatible on our LTE bands, but I cant be too sure, can someone kindly confirm this for me? thanks a bunch!

https:// apple /iphone /LTE/

I cant post links so remove the spaces.

This is the chart. It says the USA model iPhone 6 Plus Model A1522 (GSM) does run on 1800/2600. Does this mean it will work?

Go for it.

If you are too concerned, then come back to SG and get a local set. You need to factor in the warranty as well, as you are paying for warranty there, and not going to be using it. Worse still, if some issue while you are here, then you would need to shell out extra $$$ to get it repaired here as it wont carry the warranty.

So i guess they have no obligations to honor their warranty from different country?

From what I understand. Ipad and iPhone warranty is restricted to country. Their MacBook / Mac etc are worldwide

Example iPhone 6+ 64GB
SG = S$1,288.00
USA = US$ 849.00

At current exchange rate, cheaper in usa. use the money you saved to pay for warranty in SG should the unit becomes faulty.

It will work in SG but when you go to other places like CN, you might have issues? Correct me if I am wrong.

Do take note there are state tax to pay, which are not included on the page yet. I bought an iPhone for my bro as a present last year via the apple online store and ship to his place in cali, state tax was like 7% or 10%.

This have been mention alot of time.

iPhone/iPad purchased direct from Apple Store will be international warranty.

Only Telco purchased will be restricted to that telco for warranty.

I had proven it with my SG purchased iPhone from Apple Store and get it replace in OZ.
