Is it worthwhile getting MacBook Pro or MacBook Air from overseas, for example in Bangkok or Malaysia?

Will I still be able to seek assistance from Apple Singapore if I encounter any issues?

Guess that the warranty is international?

Any other advice is appreciated. Thanks.

The only benefit of getting it overseas is if it costs much cheaper.

For example  products u buy from the Singapore  online store may cost more than the Japan  online store,

Warranty and phone support is international.

Only issue is if you have a HW issue within first 2 weeks and you left the country u bought it from, you may not be able to get a replacement. Replacement is only with the reseller you bought the mac from.

take bus, chop passport, walk to City Sq JB have a look. Thats the nearest Msia mall at your fingertips. only thing is upon return, throw the box away in case of tax.

Google on different ways to get to City Sq.
